The North, East, South, and West all used to live in harmony with each other, helping to other out with their own unique elements. But the South grew powerful over the other sides and the North carried the brunt of the punishment. Tired of the abuse, they created a Rebel army. Now, the world is split into the different elements and sides.
The NORTH The Northerners are cunning and strong seeing as they face the abuse from the cold earth each and every day of their lives. Pronounced as useless in the ways of survival, the were cast into the mountains where they were isolated and forced to fend for themselves. Because of this, a deep mutiny began to stir as a rebellious people created a sort of army. Now, with the season of winter at their call, they are looking for revenge.
Winter I -- call up minor flurries -- create a frost -- small amount of control over the element of water causing small waves and summonging small streams of water
Winter II -- call forth small stromdogs and intermediate storms of snow and rain -- create a deadly frost -- moderate control over the element of water causing medium sized waves and streams of water
Winter III -- call up medium sized stormdogs and intermediate storms of snow, ice, and rain -- create icy surfaces -- advanced control over the element of water causing large waves and streams of water
Winter IV -- call up massive stormdogs and severe storms of ice, snow, and rain -- cover an entire area with frost and ice -- master the element of water causing tsunamis and commanding any size stream
The SOUTH Southerners tend to have darker skin and stubborn personalities. They are set in the ways they choose and often have a short temper about them. They have a strong hold over the rest of the land and have settled upon a high seat in which reins a powerful Eldihu who sees over all tha happens with the other regions. They depicted the North as a place where nothing useful is produced and they cast them to fend for themselves and now they have a rebellion on their hands.
Summer I -- create minor duststorms -- control a small bit of sunlight -- small amout of control over the elemnt of fire producing small flames and creating tiny volcanoes
Summer II -- create minor sandstorms and summon small inuks -- control a medium sized bit of sunlight -- moderate control over the elemnt of fire producing medium sized flames and volcanoes
Summer III -- create moderate sandstorms and summon medium sized inuks -- control a large bit of sunlight -- advanced control over the element of fire producing large flames and volcanoes
Summer IV -- create severe sandstorms and summon massive inuks -- control the sunlight -- master the element of fire producing any sized flame and massive volcanoes
The EAST Easterners are the ones who are peaceful and dislike fighting. Dispite this, they have an unforgiving nature about them that many tend to stay clear of. When the South began to rise in power, they obediantly followed orders but when the North formed its rebel group, they fell into the nuetral category but some have choosen sides and fight for what they believe in. Some believe that the Easterners have the most destructive power once fully developed which is one reason why they choose to remain neutral.
Spring I -- call up sprinkles -- cause weeds to grow -- small control over the element of the earth causing tiny earthquakes and comanding small streams of pebbles
Spring II -- call up rains and summon small clainers -- cause flowers to grow -- moderate control of the earth elements causing small earthquakes and comanding medium sized streams of rocks
Spring III -- call up pouring rains and summoning medium sized clainers -- cause crops to grow -- advanced control over the earth element causing medinum sized earthquakes and comanding large streams of rocks
Spring IV -- call up unrelenting rains and summoning large clainers -- cause trees to grow -- mater the earth element causing large earthquakes and comanding streams of boulders
The WEST The Westerners are pure of heart and amazing swordsmen. Their skill is unmatched and deadly in arms combat. They gaze no objection to the South rising in power, even giving them support. When the North was banished, they laughed alongside the South and even now fight with them to keep the North out of the picture. The East does little to bother them so they are mainly left alone save for a few favors.
Autumn I -- call up minor winds -- change colors of the grass -- small control over the wind element causing tiny tornadoes and small gusts of air
Autumn II -- call up small wind storms and small tiadans -- change colors of leaves -- moderate control of the wind element causing small tornadoes and medium gusts of wind
Autumn III -- call up gusting winds and medium wind storms and tiadans -- change colors of non-living things -- advanced control of the wind element causing medium sized tornadoes and large gusts of wind
Autumn IV -- call up relentless winds and massive wind storms and tiadans -- change colors of living things -- master of the wind element causing large tornadoes and massive gusts of wind
[ note ] each character starts at the first level of their power and goes through training to advance levels. They may also go on quests to try and advance but the quests are grueling and hard.
With each element comes a creature that can be called up. Each of these creatures is hard to hold in the eye but one is aware of it presence as it is usually the heart of the storms.
Stormdogs These creatures are a lot like your modern day malamutes. They range in size depending upon your ability and are the heart of the Winter element's storms. The dog's baying is a fearsome racket that passes for thunder and its eyes flash just like lightning. Though it doesn't appear to be real, if you are caught at sea by one of these, you could find your boat pummeled and trashed by its paws. Despite everything, there is one simple way to tame one. If you sing it a certain childhood lullaby, it will slowly disenigrate. When one has full control over a stormdog, they can be almost like housepets.
Inuks When you come upon a sandstorm, these are usually found right in the middle of the storm. They appear as a modern day Lioness and can be quite as large as the stormdogs which is four times the height of a man. The growls of this lion shake the earth and its paws are huge and used to knock any wary traveler upon the feet with a fearsome blow. To calm this creature, one much have a flute with them and play the same melody that calms a stormdog. It must be a flute or it will not work. Complete control over these cats make them seem just like a house cat, lazy and desperate for attention.
Clainers These creatures are strange in their own right. Their form takes the shape of a great falcon and their body seems to be the clouds. It is almost as if the rain falls from its very wings and when it flies, great gusts of wind are present. It's claws are large and when it flies over mountains, many rockslides are caused when its feet grasp the boulders. Taming this beast is difficult as it requires both voice and lyre playing that familiar melody that calms all beasts. Complete control is hard to come by but the falcon is extremely useful in the ways of delivering messages and hunting. their size is nearly the same as the stormdog's and inuk's.
Tiadans These are by far the most interesting of all the beasts. They take no form that can be made out and seen. Rather, they take the shape of the wind and they are the wind. A difficult concept but when they are calmed by the playing of a lyre and that simple lullaby, they begin to take shape. It is the simple shape of horse that one can finally see when the winds have died to a slight murmur. Complete mastery over the tidans gives you a loyal companion and a swift mode of transportation.
